In installment #9 of the “How to build a craftsman model railroad kit” we’re showing you how to assemble the walls of your craftsman model railroad kit.
Usually, your kit will come with an assembly card or view to show you how the walls are to be glued together and in what order. We’re following along with the instructions provided in this kit with the supplied wall card.
This step is like any of the other ones using glue we’ve completed to this point, meaning you don’t need a lot of glue to get the job done.
The one main difference from the way I show you compared to the instructions is that I’m using the lines on my cutting mat to square things up and the instructions mention using machine blocks. The method you use is totally up to your discretion, but make sure you have something with true square lines or edges to use as a guide. You don’t want to use something that isn’t square, you’ll end up with ugly angles and uneven edges.
