Welcome to step number 19 of our Craftsman Kit Model Building Series, when we show you how to add the loading dock and ho scale laser cut stairs to the structure!

For this step, I used a simple pair of locking forceps (like you use for fishing), acrylic paint, and some wood glue.

First we add the loading dock, then we glue on the supports for the dock. that way we can adjust the height to them appropriately. If we glued the dock support on first we run the risk of it not touching the ground.

After that we carefully paint and add the stairs!

In the next step, we’ll lightly weather the structure, to add a more realistic look, but not over-weathering it.
