How about a little fun creating some trees on a Friday night?!?

In the most recent episode of our podcast, we discussed a patron topic about creating trees and the techniques and materials we like to use when creating some trees.

To hear what we talked about on that episode, you should give it a listen! Because honestly, it’s too long to re-type word for word and it will probably just make the most sense when listened to.

BUT what was cool about our Patron Topics of the week was the sub-discussion that took place within the thread on the Facebook group.

Our awesome patrons started to share what they’ve been working on and the work definitely didn’t disappoint!

Ron uses flower stems from a Spirea Bush. With Scenic Express Super Leaf. He also will add individual Super Tree armatures to the Spirea Branches to make foreground trees.

Lynn McCurdy uses Sagebrush to make his trees:

My best trees (I have a doz or so different ones) Are made from Sagebrush. Then pillow batting stretched over the top, add hair spray then green foam. Picture is an example of one.
