In this first link to his RGS-RR blog he talks about digging into a pretty large and complex craftsman kit, The Ridgeway Depot from Rags to Riches (now out of production). On this blog post he also shows us the updates to his work as he adds structure lighting to the build. Very cool stuff so far and I can’t wait to see how this finishes up! Read his first story here: https://rgsrr.blogspot.com/2019/05/ridgway-depot-construction-begins.html[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1627″ img_size=”large” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]His second recently posted story is the installation of new updated flooring, some layout improvements and a very cool feature, a phone system for his layout which is for operations and is a neat interactive feature. He added 5 phones to the layout to improve operations and communications throughout different parts of his setup. You need to check it out here: https://rgsrr.blogspot.com/2019/05/layout-improvements-flooring-and-phones.html[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1628″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The final recent story that we’re highlighting from Steven’s RGS-RR layout is the task and project of installation of new lighting to create a more “real outdoor lighting” effect. This included applying techniques he has used from his experience in stage and production lighting to try to replicate the same results but on a smaller “stage”. His results and findings so far on experimenting with newer stage-like lighting on his layout as well as some recent operations news can be read about here: https://rgsrr.blogspot.com/2019/05/layout-night-lighting-and-op-sessions.html[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1629″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]
