As we’re wrapping up our business card contest build, I’m proud to announce our next contest!
This contest will be to build a piece of rolling stock either from a kit or a scratch build. All entries this time will go head to head in a voting contest that puts entrants head-to-head with other entries in a bracket-style vote-off.
The parameters for the rolling stock are as follows:
- Build a piece of rolling stock from a kit any kit or scratch build
- Scale can be any size from 1.6 scale – Z scale
- Must take 1 before build photo and one after (completed) photo
- You can only submit ONE photo this time, will help with the format of this contest
- The display around the car can not exceed 2″ all the way around
How to submit your build:
You have from Friday, June 5th, 2020 until Sunday, July 5th, 2020 at midnight 11:59:59pm to email your photos to brett@hoscalecustoms.com your BEST photo of the build. You must use the subject line of “Rolling Stock Contest Entry – First Name Last Name” obviously replacing the first name last name with your own and attach your photo.
The voting tournament will begin Monday evening on July 6th and be open through each round, tournament style. The length of the head-to-head rounds will be determined by the number of entries.
What you win:
You win bragging rights for one month as the monthly contest winner, voted on by your peer builders, and you’ll get the traveling trophy of Ernest, our golden and hopefully cleverly modified statue man. Pic below…
We want to keep this fun and enjoyable for everybody, so the prize is a traveling trophy that we want EACH WINNER to pass on to the next winner. So don’t be a prick and keep it from the next month’s winner.
